Cole-Parmer UV Viewing Cabinet with 254/365nm Wavelength Lamps, 115V; 23-3/8"W
The customizable viewing cabinets are designed to accommodate one or two 8-watt lamps (sold separately). Lamps plug directly into the cabinet housing as needed and can be removed for handheld use. Using two lamps provides uniform illumination from two sides of the cabinet. Cabinet features interior overhead white light, included with unit, for basic sample illumination. The high-performance viewing cabinets feature high-intensity 15-watt UV tubes. Control switches, for selecting UV or white light, are conveniently located on the top of cabinet. Models 97621-10 and -15 feature two each of shortwave and longwave UV tubes mounted on one side of the cabinet. Models 97621-20 and -25 have four longwave UV tubes mounted on one side. Models 97621-30 and -35 have two shortwave and two longwave tubes mounted on two sides.

This economical system provides true low cost image acquisition and documentation of gels, plates and membranes. The system combines a 5.1 mega pixel high-resolution digital color camera with a compact enclosure and UV filter. Custom designed software links the camera to an existing computer via a USB interface. Software compatible with Window 98, ME and 2000.
System includes digital color camera, software, hood enclosure, UV filter, diopter and universal power supply.

Blue light is used instead of UV, which is safer for lab personnel and will not damage DNA samples. The illumination base emits an intense blue light with a peak output of 460nm for optimum excitation of nucleic acids stained with safe green dyes (SYBR Green, SmartGlow™, GelStar™, GelGreen™, etc). The orange cover fits on top of the illumination base and acts as a filter to absorb blue light, allowing visualization of the fluorescing samples. The cover can also be set at an angle for gel access and cutting out DNA bands
LICOR Silicone Mats (13cm x 13cm mat)
These silicone mats are used for flattening membranes against the glass surface on the Odyssey DLx, Odyssey M, Odyssey CLx or Odyssey Classic Infrared Imaging System. The mats come in three sizes: 25 cm x 25 cm, 13 cm x 13 cm, and 19 cm x 26 cm. The 19 cm x 26 cm size is specific for the Odyssey M Imager.
